Adding Disqus Comments to WordPress

This article introduces how to add Disqus comments to WordPress in the PHP programming language.

Register your site.

Account Created - Disqus > I want to install Disqus on my site

When you enter any string, something like “Your unique disqus URL will be: media-yuipro.disqus.com” will be displayed, so the subdomain part like media-yuipro becomes the short name.

Install the plugin

wp plugin install disqus-comment-system
wp plugin activate disqus-comment-system

At a URL like https://media.yuis-programming.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=disqus#siteConfiguration, click “Click to make changes”, enter the subdomain from earlier in the short name field, and save.

That’s it. Open any article and check if the comment box is displayed.

You can manage comments from a URL like this:

https://media-yuipro.disqus.com/admin/
