Hello. I’ve also encountered this error. Even though it says “New credit card registration canceled,” I didn’t cancel anything, but it was canceled automatically, which is frustrating.

doesn’t explain the error or provide a solution, which is problematic.
Since this error appears, you’ve probably gotten to the credit card registration stage. If the credit card information itself were incorrect, an error like “Failed. New credit card registration. Credit card could not be used.” would appear instead.
This error probably occurs due to internet connection issues or the influence of Chrome or browser extensions/add-ons.
The standard solution is to try a different browser. If you’re using Chrome, try Firefox. Alternatively, you can disable all extensions or use an incognito mode window. Please try it.
Also, as an additional note, if you repeatedly try to add a credit card or repeatedly display the “New credit card registration canceled” error, there’s a risk that Conoha will lock your account usage.
In that case, the error message may change to something like “Failed. Fraudulent behavior check. Please try again with correct payment information.” If this happens, you’ll probably have no choice but to contact Conoha’s customer center to unlock your account, so please be careful.
