We introduce how to install and use Etherpad (etherpad-lite).
Official repository: ether/etherpad-lite: Etherpad: A modern really-real-time collaborative document editor.
For support with Etherpad installation and usage, we use the following technologies and tools:
- Docker
- Linux
If you need support with Etherpad, please contact us.
Additionally, to provide Etherpad support, you will need a PC or server with Linux installed. Please prepare Ubuntu 16.xx or later (e.g., 16.04.05, 20.04.05, etc.) as your Linux distribution in advance. It doesn’t have to be on a physical machine; virtual machines (e.g., VirtualBox, Hyper-V, etc.) are also acceptable.
Support is also available if you need assistance preparing Linux. Please let us know if you’d like this.
In addition to installation and usage support, we can also provide support for the following types of requests:
Support examples:
-
Plugin installation
-
How to use the Etherpad API, how to call it, advice on integration with external programs, etc.
-
Accessing Etherpad from a custom domain / Password-protecting it so only you and your family can access it
-
Other requests are negotiable
Product-only delivery (files, code, commands, and setup guide) is also available. Support is not included with the product. Please contact us if you need support.
