When using NVIDIA GPUs for deep learning, machine learning, and other programming, you first need to install NVIDIA drivers compatible with your GPU.
NVIDIA drivers can be installed from the following.

If you want to check which GPU model you are using, you can check it from the NVIDIA Control Panel.

When downloading drivers, you’ll be asked to choose between Game Ready Driver (GRD) or Studio Driver (SD) as the download type. According to Reddit, either one is fine to choose.
Studio Driver (SD) has slightly better performance for machine learning programs, but the difference is minimal. In my case, I use the Game Ready Driver, which was selected by default, is optimized for gaming, and likely has a larger user base. I haven’t encountered any problems so far, so if you want to play it safe, Game Ready Driver should be fine.
