This article introduces settings and methods to mute Windows 10 system sounds.
Don’t you find Windows sounds annoying? In addition to notification sounds, system sound effects occur in various situations such as command lines or Ctrl+F searches.
To set Windows system sound volume to 0, search for volume in settings and open it, then mute “System”.

Alternatively, there may be a Command Line item instead of System. If you’re launching Bash or PowerShell directly instead of through an emulator like ConEmu, there might be such an item, so if the sound doesn’t stop, check around there.
