This article explains how to fix the issue when the Start menu right-click is not working, not functioning, or not responding while using Windows 10 on your computer.

To log out, you need to access the menu displayed by right-clicking the Start menu, but it’s problematic if right-clicking doesn’t work.

Solution

If the Start menu right-click is not working, try the following steps:

  1. Use Win + X Keys

    Use the Win + X key shortcut to access the same functionality as the Start menu right-click menu. Using this shortcut will display the same menu.

Side Note

Interestingly, after using the Win + X key shortcut, the Start menu right-click may start working again. The cause of this phenomenon is unknown, but it’s worth trying.
